  • 800g Diced Scotch Beef

  • 2 Onions, sliced

  • 2 Garlic Cloves, minced

  • 3 Carrots, chopped

  • 2 Celery Sticks, chopped

  • 1 tbsp Tomato Purée

  • 400ml Beef Stock

  • 250ml Red Wine

  • 2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce

  • 1 tsp Thyme

  • 1 Bay Leaf

  • Salt & Pepper

  • 1 tbsp Oil

🔥 How to Cook Slow-Cooked Beef Stew
1️⃣ Brown the beef – Heat oil in a large pan, brown the beef in batches, and set aside.
2️⃣ Sauté veg – In the same pan, cook onions, garlic, carrot, and celery until soft.
3️⃣ Combine – Add beef back in, then stir in tomato purée, wine, stock, Worcestershire sauce, and herbs.
4️⃣ Simmer – Cover and simmer for 2.5–3 hours, or place in a slow cooker on low for 6–8 hours.
5️⃣ Serve – Remove bay leaf, season to taste, and serve piping hot.
