2 Butcher’s Chicken Fillets, halved lengthwise
50g Plain Flour
2 Eggs, beaten
100g Breadcrumbs
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Dried Oregano
1 tbsp Olive Oil
100g Mozzarella, grated
30g Parmesan, grated
For the sauce: 1 tin Chopped Tomatoes, 2 Garlic Cloves (minced), 1 tsp Sugar, Salt, Basil
🔥 How to Cook Chicken Parmesan
1️⃣ Prepare the sauce – Sauté garlic in olive oil, add chopped tomatoes, sugar, salt, and basil. Simmer 15 minutes.
2️⃣ Bread the chicken – Coat fillets in flour, then egg, then breadcrumb mix (with oregano & garlic powder).
3️⃣ Cook – Pan-fry until golden, then place in an oven dish.
4️⃣ Top – Spoon over sauce and sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan.
5️⃣ Bake – Bake at 200°C for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbling.
6️⃣ Serve – Let rest briefly, then plate up.
