500g Diced Steak
250g Haggis
1 Onion, diced
1 Garlic Clove, minced
1 tbsp Tomato Purée
400ml Beef Stock
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
Shortcrust Pastry or Puff Pastry
1 Egg (for glazing)
🔥 How to Cook Steak & Haggis Pie
1️⃣ Brown steak – Sear in batches and set aside.
2️⃣ Cook filling – Sauté onion and garlic, add purée and stock. Return steak and simmer 1.5 hours.
3️⃣ Stir in haggis – Flake in haggis just before assembling pie.
4️⃣ Fill pastry – Add cooled filling to a lined pie dish, top with pastry lid.
5️⃣ Bake – Glaze with egg, bake at 200°C for 25–30 minutes.
6️⃣ Serve – Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
