750g Diced Stewing Beef
400ml Coconut Milk
1 Onion
4 Garlic Cloves
1 Thumb Ginger
1 Lemongrass Stick
2 tsp Ground Coriander
1 tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Chilli Powder
1 tsp Ground Cumin
1 tsp Brown Sugar
2 Kaffir Lime Leaves (optional)
Salt
Oil

🔥 How to Cook Beef Rendang
1️⃣ Blend paste – Blitz onion, garlic, ginger, lemongrass, and spices into a paste.
2️⃣ Sear beef – Brown beef in oil and set aside.
3️⃣ Cook paste – Fry spice paste until fragrant and reduced.
4️⃣ Combine – Add beef, coconut milk, lime leaves and sugar. Simmer uncovered 2.5–3 hours.
5️⃣ Finish – Stir occasionally until thick and caramelised.
6️⃣ Serve – Deep brown and sticky is perfect.
